Mechatronics Engineer
Ahmed is a Robotics Intern since Jan 2020 at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs, Cambridge, MA. He is also a Ph.D. Candidate & Research Assistant in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Michigan State University (MSU), East Lansing, MI. He was the lead Teaching Assistant for the Control Systems Lab at MSU from 2016 thru 2017. Prior to joining MSU, Ahmed was a Research Assistant at the Group of Advanced Research in Dynamic Systems, and a Teaching Assistant at Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. He earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechatronics Engineering, from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2010, and 2014 respectively. Ahmed has more than seven years of Teaching Assistant experience in several Mechatronics classes. He received multiple awards including the James Dyson Foundation Fellowship, and, MSU graduate Fellowship and the Acoustical Society of America grant for international students. Ahmed is also Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer since 2015.
